Family owned and sustainable manufactured since 1978, this toy company is been one of our favourites since we opened. Grimms makes safe and simple toys for little ones to adults where the wood grains, shape, and texture encourage creative play for little hands and everyone in the family. The individual pieces are dipped by hand into stain and intentionally not coated to preserve the positive characteristics of the wood.

Sustainably made in Europe and finished with water-based, non-toxic stains. All of Grimms colours are absolutely harmless and tested in-depth for colour fastness in contact with saliva. All colours and oils are certified according to the European and US- toy safety standards (EN 71 and CPSIA/ASTM 963).
